A new Coloring Page and ebook, inspired by this amazing Sloth I met in Peru.
The Sloth. Deep in the jungles along the Amazon River, he’d found a lovely little home in a local human’s rafters. He was “human savvy” and liked to come down to say hello to travelers like me. Explore these photos I captured to get inspired by the Sloth’s unique and distinct colors, textures, and style.
Homeschool Style Activity: Turn the free coloring page into an immersive art experience. Study the Sloth by watching videos, exploring books, reading about the characteristics and personalities of the Sloth, as well as symbolism and meaning behind this slow-moving, highly-efficient, and unique animal. Write a poem, a short story, an essay or research paper, or simply print it many times and play with the many ways to bring it to life with an array of mediums and colors.
Have fun and feel free to share with friends and family!
The Sloth, illustrated first by hand, then inked using the digital drawing app Procreate with an iPad.

Love the photos of sloth. I wondered where the orange with black stripe was on his body.
Glad you enjoy them! And the orange coloring is on the back of the male sloth along its spine. This is something that only the males have, some researchers speculate that the colorful patch of hair is a testosterone-dependent signal of quality, i.e., the bigger and stronger the sloth, the bigger and brighter it appears.
