Winter just had a last hurrah here in the PNW, with a snow that covered us all in a glorious blanket of white. Now, the days are bright, Spring has arrived.
When the changing spring weather leads to feelings of chaos – coloring can help you feeling peaceful and in harmony with the season as it changes.
Spring, it sure takes us on a roller coaster.
Inspired by rhythmic patterns found in nature. The simple repetition of shapes, seems to be extra soothing when the seasons are flying by so quickly.
Since I’ve found joy in the peaceful, playful process of filling these patterns with color, I thought I’d turn them into a book, so the art could be more easily shared, so that you could gain enjoyment from it too.
For now, here’s a sample of the book-in-progress, which includes an introduction I wrote, plus a fill-in-your-own color wheel, and three of the peaceful patterns for you to color.
Print it and share it and color it and, perhaps, let me know how it goes.
